Meet Attieh
I don't often share my personal journey, but here I’m excited to recount my transformation from a
dedicated Electrical Engineer to a passionate empowerment coach. I hope that my story inspires
others to choose joy, passion, and service at every turn over conforming to convention.
Twenty-five years ago, my deep passion for becoming an Electrical Engineer led me to pursue excellence in this field.
I spent many rewarding years with inspiring mentors, for whom I remain profoundly grateful. However, my path took an unexpected turn when my work environment shifted dramatically. I found myself in a setting dominated by constant criticism and a sense of inadequacy. In my attempt to fit in and gain approval, I worked harder, but in doing so, I lost touch with my true self. Ironically, the more I strayed from who I was, the more challenging my situation became.
Despite these difficulties, I knew deep down that I was never truly alone. I just needed to quiet my mind to reconnect with that familiar, loving voice. It took time, but once I found the light in the darkness, I encountered incredible teachers and resources that opened my heart to a greater aspect of myself. Through my experiences in various workplaces, I've learned that the engineering industry and corporate environments often operate in ways that are misaligned with our true selves. This misalignment leads to disharmony, and many lose sight of what truly matters. Long working hours, lack of work-life balance, micromanagement, and insufficient support for working parents contribute to the loss of creativity,
passion, and joy. Gradually, we forget our deepest desires and lose the ability to envision our future life again.
I believe it's time for a change, and the change starts with each of us.
